Terrorist’s family celebrate his death on PA TV: “Praise Allah we were happy about his Martyrdom as he is a groom [to the 72 Virgins]”
Official PA TV News broadcast funeral of terrorist Abed Hamed who was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers after trying to ram his car into them at the entrance to Silwad, north of Ramallah.
Official PA TV reporter reads aloud:
“’The most beautiful things in the world
My mother and father, my soul is attached to them
Do not cry, my mother
I hope I will please you, my father’
These are the words that the Martyr (Shahid) wrote before he went to carry out a ramming operation at the western entrance to Silwad…”
Abed Hamed’s mother: “He called me personally from Ramallah and told me: ‘I want you to marry me [off].’ I told him: ‘Allah willing.’ He told me: ‘Today.’ As he was about to hang up he said: ‘I am serious.’ When he said [that], I told him: ‘On Friday.’ I would like to call him again and tell him: 'I will marry you [off] on Friday.’ And tell him: ‘Why did you not tell me [to do it] quickly? Praise Allah.’”
Female relative: “Praise Allah. What a groom, what a groom! A groom of Paradise.”
Abed Hamed’s mother: “Allah willing he will go to Paradise…”
Female relative 2: “May Allah be pleased with him and have mercy on him. Allah willing, he will be received as a Martyr by the Master of the Universe. Knock on wood, glowing face, knock on wood, wonderful. Yesterday, we were amazed by the news, but praise Allah we were happy about his Martyrdom (Shahada) as he is a groom, what a groom.”
