PA Islamic-Christian Council for Jerusalem calls two terrorists who carried out car ramming attacks “Martyrs”

“The [PA] Islamic-Christian Council for Jerusalem and the Holy Places yesterday [Feb. 1, 2017] published its monthly report on the subject of the Israeli violations against Jerusalem and its holy sites for the month of January 2017. [The report said that] the Israeli occupation forces continued their severe and organized violations of the principles of international law and human rights in the Palestinian territories in general, and in occupied Jerusalem in particular.
The report documented the deaths as Martyrs (Shahids) of two residents of Jerusalem: young Fadi Ahmed Al-Qanbar (i.e., terrorist, murdered 4) from the town of Jabel Mukaber (i.e., Jerusalem neighborhood), and young Hussein Salem Abu Ghosh (i.e., terrorist, carried out a car ramming attempt) from the Qalandiya refugee camp.”
Fadi Al-Qanbar – 28-year-old Palestinian terrorist who on Jan. 8, 2017, murdered 4 Israeli soldiers – officer Yael Yekutiel, 20, and cadets Shir Hajaj, 22, Shira Tzur, 20, and Erez Orbach, 20 – and wounded over 15 other soldiers in a truck ramming attack at the Armon Hanatziv Promenade, in southeast Jerusalem. After ramming into the soldiers at high speed, Al-Qanbar ran over the prone soldiers again before being shot and killed by soldiers and an armed civilian. Al-Qanbar supported ISIS online.
Hussein Abu Ghosh – 18-year-old Palestinian terrorist who attempted to ram his car into Israelis at a bus station near Psagot, north of Jerusalem, on Jan. 25, 2017. Abu Ghosh was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers at the scene. The attack occurred exactly one year after Abu Ghosh’s cousin, also named Hussein Abu Ghosh, together with Ibrahim Allan, stabbed Shlomit Krigman, 23, to death in Beit Horon, east of Modiin.
