PLO Ambassador to India praises Palestinian terrorists and Shalit kidnappers

PLO Ambassador to India and regular columnist for official PA daily, Adli Sadeq:
"This is an opportunity to praise those worthy of it; if some of them have passed on, then we must pray for the elevation of their souls. Starting with the dear Shahid (Martyr) Abu Ataya (Jamal Abu Samhadaneh), founder of the Popular Resistance Committees… then, all those who died during the operation in which the soldier was kidnapped… and finally all theShahids who fell by the oppressive fire which the occupiers poured over our people, in the raids of fury and revenge that lasted months and more, following the attack carried out by youngsters in the prime of life, holding a few light weapons, and with little experience and training – against part of an armored military structure, and kidnapping a soldier (i.e., Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit) who was trained, armed and equipped. Blessings to the soul of the resistance youth… and blessings to all the men who guarded the secrecy of [place of] holding of the captive, from the first weeks of his captivity and throughout the time he was held… The Palestinians receive the news of the impending release of a thousand male prisoners and 27 female prisoners in a festive spirit. Perhaps someone will speak up afterwards about the drawbacks of the deal… For our part, we shall not focus on what Hamas did not succeed in achieving, because we know how difficult the negotiations [with Israel regarding the release of prisoners in exchange for Shalit] have been over several years. The occupiers expected a deal that was totally cheap. Maybe they tried to camouflage their partial concession before their public, full of fanaticism and extremism, by refusing to let the deal include national leaders such as Ahmad Sa'adat, Marwan Barghouti and Fuad Al-Shawbaki; and fighters who carried out quality operations (i.e., terror attacks), such as Abbas Al-Sayid, Ibrahim Hamed, Abdallah Barghouti, and Thaer Hammad and others."

Note: Jamal Abu Samhadaneh – founder of the terrorist organization Popular Resistance Committees.
Ahmad Sa'adat – serving a 30-year sentence for heading the PFLP terror organization. A song at a PFLP event also praised him for planning the assassination of Israeli Minister of Tourism Rehavam Ze'evi in 2001, but he has not been tried for this crime.
Marwan Barghouti – serving five life sentences for orchestrating terror attacks against Israeli civilians. When arrested in 2002, he headed Fatah's military wing, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades. After he was convicted and imprisoned, he was re-elected member of the Palestinian Authority parliament.
Abbas Al-Sayid - serving 35 life sentences for planning two suicide bombings, one in 2002 at a Passover dinner, killing 30 Israelis, and another in 2001, killing 5 and wounding 100.
Ibrahim Hamed - Hamas military leader who orchestrated many suicide attacks and bombings in Israel during the Intifada. He planned the Hebrew University, Cafe Moment and Cafe Hillel suicide bombings, among others.
Abdallah Barghouti - sentenced to 67 life sentences for involvement in terror attacks in which 66 Israelis were murdered - Sbarro restaurant (Aug. 9, 2001), Moment Café (March 9, 2002), and the triple attack at the Ben Yehuda pedestrian mall (Dec. 1, 2001).
Thaer Hammad - murdered 10 Israelis in 2002.
