“WASHINGTON, August 31, 2010 (WAFA)- President Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Leadership condemned Tuesday the military operation in Hebron, stemming from condemnation of any acts against Palestinian or Israeli civilians.
In a press release, the Palestinian Leadership confirmed that the target of the operation which Hamas hold responsible, is overcrowding the political process. It could not be considered as an act of resistance, since Hamas stopped the resistance in the Gaza Strip and pursued the people who wage resistance.” [PMW emphasis added]
