Awdah TV, Fatah-run  |
An interlude of pictures from the Fatah Movement was broadcast on Fatah-run Awdah TV. A poem honoring the movement called "Why Am I a Fatah Man?" was recited in the background and pictures of Fatah founder Yasser Arafat and prominent terrorists of the organization including Abu Jihad, Abu Iyad, and Dalal Mughrabi, were shown during the interlude:

A picture was shown of blacked-out terrorists aiming assault rifles, together with the text: “We are all for Palestine,” and in the background a PA map of “Palestine,” that presents all of Israel as "Palestine" together with the PA areas:

Text of the poem recited in the background: “I asked my grandfather: ‘Why did you become a Fatah man?’ He answered me: ‘When we heard the prayers we would open the Quran after the prayers, and then I found the word Fatah (lit., conquest) inside the Quran.’” Text from the Quran then appears:

Translation: “When the victory of Allah has come and the conquest (Fatah in Arabic –Ed.); And you see the people entering into the religion of Allah in multitudes; Then exalt [Him] with praise of your Lord and ask forgiveness of Him. Indeed, He is ever Accepting of repentance.” [Quran, Sura 110:1-3, translation Sahih International]

Abu Jihad (Khalil Al-Wazir) was a founder of Fatah and deputy to Yasser Arafat. He headed the PLO terror organization's military wing and also planned many deadly Fatah terror attacks. These attacks, which killed a total of 125 Israelis, included the most lethal in Israeli history - the hijacking of a bus and killing of 37 civilians, 12 of them children.

Abu Iyad (Salah Khalaf) - Founder of Fatah and head of the terrorist organization Black September. Attacks he planned included the murder of 11 Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics (Sept. 5, 1972) and the murder of two American diplomats in Sudan (March 1, 1973).

Dalal Mughrabi led the most lethal terror attack in Israel’s history, known as the Coastal Road massacre, in 1978, when she and other Fatah terrorists hijacked a bus on Israel's Coastal Highway, killing 37 civilians, 12 of them children, and wounding over 70.
