Official PA TV host calls Israel “occupied Palestine, which is called ‘Israel’ in quotation marks”
Official PA TV program Inside, on the boycott of Israeli goods, hosting Palestinian Ambassador to the European Union Abd Al-Rahim Al-Fara
Official PA TV host: “Israel is losing millions and perhaps billions of dollars as a result of the global boycott. The Israeli occupation has noticed this, and therefore it is trying to get around or outwit them. It takes the goods of the settlements out to other places, in other words to cities within occupied Palestine, which is called ‘Israel’ in quotation marks, and it places a sticker according to which it [the product] was produced in Tel Aviv or another city. It is possible that in this way it succeeds in outwitting them. Is the European Union, or the [European] citizen on the street, alert to this matter?”
Palestinian Ambassador to the European Union Abd Al-Rahim Al-Fara: “[That is] an important question. Not all European citizens are alert to this. But the official European bodies are certainly alert to it.”
