Families of 2 terrorists express joy and celebrate sons’ Martyrdom

Headline: “Ihab and Abd Al-Rahman Maswadeh – twins from birth and until they died as Martyrs”
“In the heart of Hebron, and in two nearly adjoining homes, the boys Ihab Fathi Zakariya Maswadeh and Abd Al-Rahman Yusri Zakariya Maswadeh were born in 1994… The cousins had simple dreams, and each of them was building a home for himself to settle in and get married later on, according to the relatives of the two Martyrs (Shahids). Ihab’s mother said that he was about to finish building his home, and the family had planned to complete the construction, and afterward to find him a bride… A few days before he died as a Martyr, Ihab was preparing for a pilgrimage to Mecca with his relatives, but he chose a different path on Dec. 7, 2015. 'He left home very fast, and prayed the afternoon prayers at the mosque…. The last conversation between us was at 3:20 in the afternoon, and he said to me: "I want you to be pleased,"’ and he repeated his last statement several times. When the mother learned of her son’s death as a Martyr, she let out cries of ‘joy over his death as a Martyr,’ and the family is still giving out candies and receiving guests, and emphasizing that their joy over Ihab’s death as a Martyr is greater than their joy over the wedding they all dreamed of for him. 48 hours had not passed since Ihab’s death as a Martyr when his cousin joined him. No one had thought that Abd Al-Rahman missed his cousin so much that he would follow in his path. On the morning of Dec. 9, 2015, Abd Al-Rahman and his two sisters talked about Martyr Ihab, for whom consolers were still coming one after the other to his family’s home in order to ‘bless his death as a Martyr,’ and one of the things Abd Al-Rahman said was: ‘And I also hope to die as a Martyr.’ It did not take long, as the news arrived quickly and Abd’s siblings saw their brother in a report which stated that he [died as] a Martyr while carrying out a stabbing operation (i.e., terror attack) against [Israeli] soldiers in the area called Al-Dabbouya near the Ibrahimi Mosque (i.e., the Cave of the Patriarchs) in the heart of Hebron, and Abd Al-Rahman’s father reiterated: ‘Praise Allah.’ Abd Al-Rahman and Ihab were born together, lived together and loved their life together, and when death came, they received it together, leaving behind the family, loved ones, and the homes they had not yet finished building.”

Ihab Maswadeh – 21-year-old Palestinian terrorist who stabbed and injured a 40-year-old Israeli near the Cave of the Patriarchs, in Hebron, on Dec. 7, 2015. He was shot and killed by Israeli border policemen.

Abd Al-Rahman Maswadeh – 21-year-old Palestinian terrorist who stabbed and injured an Israeli soldier in Hebron on Dec. 9, 2015. He then stabbed and injured an Israeli civilian who jumped on him from behind to stop him. The Israeli Hebron community security chief shot and killed him.
