PA council: Israel has taken first step toward “realizing the Jewish dream to erect the alleged Temple” over Al-Aqsa Mosque

“Secretary-General of the [Islamic-Christian] Council [for Jerusalem and the Holy Places] Dr. Hanna Issa said that the fact that a group from the [Israeli] Foreign Ministry had invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque constitutes an open and clear admission of the systematic plans of the occupation government against the Mosque. Issa called on the international community and its organizations that deal with the holy places to direct their attention to the danger being posed to the Mosque, and noted that there was now a daily Jewish presence inside it. He also emphasized that the plan to divide up the mosque between Muslims and Jews constituted the first step toward taking full control of it and realizing the Jewish dream to erect the alleged Temple.”
