The Jerusalem activist Muhsin Mughrabi said that the municipality of Jerusalem is the front branch of the occupation authorities, and that it constantly holds events and festivals whose purpose is to give a Talmudic character to the Old City of Jerusalem and its parts. Likewise, he noted that all of these attempts fail because of the true reality of the city, and especially in the Old City which includes the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and cultural and historic treasures to which the Jews have absolutely no connection.”
