Official PA daily op-ed: Israelis will emigrate, seeing Israel's weakness in fighting wildfires and since the “Israeli Jew does not adhere to the land"

Headline: “A tenuous scenario for fires”
Excerpt of an op-ed by Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul, regular columnist for the official PA daily
“The fires (i.e., a wave of suspected Palestinian arson attacks in November 2016) are not the result of an intentional act, but rather were caused as a result of the negligence of visitors to parks and forests. The winds, their velocity, and the low percentage of humidity were factors that helped in their expansion and increased the speed of their spread to adjacent areas.
However, this negligence has revealed the emptiness of the Israeli state and its civil defense forces, despite the previous warnings. Likewise exposed was the weakness of the home front , which apparently is unfit for this kind of simple coping with the flames, not to mention with a large number of rockets…
Some Israelis will turn to the option of reverse migration as a result of the sense of a lack of personal security – not only as a result of war operations (i.e., terror attacks), but also due to a lack of Israeli internal guarantees. This is particularly because the Israeli Jew does not adhere to the land, and is interested in [national] belonging only because of his personal interests.”
