Op-ed denies Jewish kingdoms or Temples ever existed: "It is all a myth"

Excerpt of op-ed by Jihad Al-Khazen printed in the London daily Al-Hayat and reprinted in the official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida
“It is all a myth. I have repeatedly said and I say today that there are no archeological remnants of Jewish kingdoms or kings in our land. There are no archeological findings from the First or Second Temple, and this site is the Noble Sanctuary (i.e., the Temple Mount), and its history is known and its archeological remains exist to this day. Inside it is the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock, and there is nothing Jewish above it, below it, or around it.
There were Jews, and their existence cannot be denied. However, there were no kingdoms, and they left no archeological remains of houses of worship, royal castles, plazas, statues, or other archaeological remains of kingdoms.”
