USAID funds building of football field named after Martyr Salah Khalaf (Abu Iyad), planner of Munich Olympics massacre

Headline: "In the presence of Dr. Al-Muhaisen and the Jenin District Governor, the 'Tafahum' (United) team of Tulkarem inaugurated the Martyr Salah Khalaf [Football] Field with six goals”
“The Martyr (Shahid) Salah Khalaf Football Field was inaugurated [Friday]… speeches were made by UNICEF representative in Palestine, Jonathan Hutchen… [and] in the name of USAID, who financed the project. [PA] Deputy Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs, Dr. Jamal Muhaisen, thanked the sponsoring and supporting agencies and praised the management of the Martyr Salah Khalaf Center… which is considered one of the most important and of the biggest sport centers… Plaques of honor were awarded by the [PA] Ministry of Youth and Sports to Save the Children Institute, USAID, and to the Council for Youth Development Initiatives in [Fatah's] Martyr Salah Khalaf sub-branch.”

Note: Salah Khalaf (Abu Iyad) was a founder of Fatah and head of the terror organization Black September. Attacks he planned included the murder of two American diplomats (March 1, 1973), as well as the murders of 11 Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics (Sept. 5, 1972).
In June 2004, PMW published a report demonstrating the deficiencies in US anti-terror laws, which allowed the Palestinian Authority to use US money to finance projects that promote terror, glorify terrorists, and sponsor anti- American activities. PMW recommended six changes in US law in the report, five of which passed Congress three weeks later.
