PA Islamic-Christian Council: Israel is bent on "Judaizing the Al-Aqsa Mosque and realizing their aspirations and claims on its ruins"
“The [PA’s] Islamic-Christian Council for Support of Jerusalem and the Holy Sites stressed yesterday, Monday, [Dec. 30, 2013] that many Judaization measures and Israeli initiatives were carried out in 2013 to complete the Judaization of the Holy City, obscure its Arab features and give it a foreign, Jewish character. As part of these [efforts], the occupation authorities expropriated additional lands, demolished homes and expelled hundreds of Jerusalem residents…
The Council's Secretary-General, Dr. Hanna Issa, added: ‘We view the daily desecration of the holiness of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the daily invasions of it as one of the main challenges posed by the Israeli occupation authorities during 2013, with all their power, for the purpose of Judaizing the Mosque and realizing their aspirations and claims on its ruins.’”
The PA considers any presence of Jews on the Temple Mount an "invasion." However, all visitors are subject to rigorous checks by Israeli security personnel before being granted access to the Temple Mount.
