“Fatah Revolutionary Council member Raed Radwan said that transferring the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, if this is indeed carried out, is a type of aggression towards the Palestinian people, its holy places, and its principles, and an explicit declaration that the American embassy sides with the Israeli occupation.
In a radio interview yesterday [Jan. 10, 2017], Radwan emphasized the unity of the Palestinian people against the attempts to legitimize the settlements and the occupation. He said: ‘There are institutions of the American administration and state institutions which will prevent Trump from fulfilling this promise, which will drag the region into a situation of tension, more violence, and a threat to the interests of the US in the Arab and Islamic world.’”
