Fatah official: Dalal Mughrabi and other “Martyrdom-seekers” are examples of gender partnership in Fatah

Ma’an TV program Palestine This Evening, on the role of women and their representation in the Palestinian political parties, hosting head of the Information Committee of the Fatah Mobilization and Organization Commission Munir Al-Jaghoub
Head of the Information Committee of the Fatah Mobilization and Organization Commission Munir Al-Jaghoub: “There is a way in the Fatah Movement to strengthen the female presence and to grant it its rights. Like I told you, in the Fatah Movement the woman is a partner in the struggle of the man, and there are many examples starting with Dalal Mughrabi and the Martyrdom-seekers (Istish’had) who were alongside the men in the protection of the Palestinian national project.”

Dalal Mughrabi led the most lethal terror attack in Israel’s history, known as the Coastal Road massacre, in 1978, when she and other Fatah terrorists hijacked a bus on Israel's Coastal Highway, killing 37 civilians, 12 of them children, and wounding over 70.
