Fatah spokesman calls on Hamas to join with the PLO
Speech by Fatah Spokesman Osama Qawasmi on the Nakba (i.e., “the catastrophe,” Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel) Day in Lebanon, May 15, 2016
Fatah Spokesman Osama Al-Qawasmi: “We say to our beloved brothers in Hamas, come to us and join the PLO, on the basis of clear rules: state and partnership and Jerusalem and democracy, and no revolutions here and there. We are one people and our land is one land, and those [Israel] who killed Yasser Arafat killed Ahmed Yassin [of Hamas] and [Fathi] Shaqaqi [of the Islamic Jihad] and Abu Ali Mustafa [of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP)].This is the belief of the Fatah Movement and it will never change.”
Ahmed Yassin - Founder and former head of the terrorist organization Hamas. The Hamas movement is responsible for numerous terror attacks and the deaths of hundreds of Israeli civilians.
Fathi Shaqaqi - Founder of the terrorist organization Islamic Jihad, which has carried out numerous terrorist attacks, killing hundreds of Israeli civilians.
Abu Ali Mustafa - General Secretary of the terror organization Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). He planned numerous terror attacks against Israeli civilians during the Palestinian terror campaign (the Intifada, 2000-2005).
