“[PA] Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian Territories and preacher at the Al-Aqsa Mosque Sheikh Muhammad Hussein warned against the dangerous consequences of desecrating the sanctity of the mosques and churches in holy Jerusalem… (possibly refers to Israeli measures to collect taxes on church-owned properties in Jerusalem, not churches themselves; the proposed measures were later frozen –Ed.)
