Fatah official sends letter of complaint to UN Sec-Gen after he condemned terror attack: Israel is carrying out Judaization in Jerusalem, “excavations are still continuing in order to completely undermine [Al-Aqsa's] structure”

"Fatah Movement Central Committee member and [Fatah] General Commissioner for Arab and China Relations Abbas Zaki sent a letter to UN Secretary-General António Guterres in which he mentioned the illegal status of the settlements and settlers, after Guterres condemned the stabbing operation in the settlement of Halamish (i.e., terror attack, 3 murdered).
Zaki said in the letter that he sent to Gutteres: 'You must examine the illegal status of the settlement and become aware of the settlers’ crimes against the Palestinian people, its land, and its holy sites…
In addition, the [UN] Security Council's resolutions have condemned and voided all of the Judaization acts that Israel has carried out in Jerusalem, including all of the legislative steps and the administrative and demographic steps that the government of Israel has taken. These resolutions have confirmed the illegality of the occupation and demanded that Israel retreat from Jerusalem, as it is part of the lands that it occupied in 1967… Therefore, the Israeli authorities have no right to change or renovate any part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which the Israeli authorities have turned part of it into a synagogue, and the excavations are still continuing in order to completely undermine its structure, which constitutes a war crime.'"
Omar Al-Abd – 19-year-old Palestinian terrorist who stabbed and murdered 3 Israelis - Yosef, Haya, and Elad Salomon - and severely injured 1 - Tova Salomon - as they sat at their Sabbath dinner table in Halamish, north of Ramallah, on July 21, 2017. Before committing the attack, Al-Abd wrote in his "will" on Facebook that he was taking his knife to respond to what was happening at the Al-Aqsa Mosque and did not expect to return. A week earlier, a terror attack was carried out at the Temple Mount in which 2 Israelis were murdered. Following the attack Israel closed the Temple Mount for two days and reopened it with metal detectors at the entrance to the holy site. Palestinians interpreted these measures as an “aggression” and “attack” against the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
