Official PA daily claims Israel intentionally neglects the medical needs of Palestinian prisoners

"1,700 sick [Palestinian] prisoners are sitting in the occupation's (i.e., Israel's) prisons, complaining of different illnesses. 180 of the prisoners are suffering from serious illnesses and need an operation to save their lives, 25 of them are sick with cancer, and 70 are suffering from physical and mental disabilities. In addition, there are dozens of injured, half of them injured by live fire at the time of their arrest, while some of them have lost the ability to move due to the continuing policy of intentional medical neglect."
