“The [PA] Ministry of Information viewed the ongoing Israeli aggression against the members of our people in Gaza as ongoing harm and raging terror, which requires the free people of the world to stop it, and to prosecute the occupation for its ongoing crimes.
[The ministry] emphasized that the deaths as Martyrs (Shahids) of the two children Amir Al-Nimra (15) and Luay Kheil (16) (i.e., two Palestinians killed in an Israeli airstrike responding to Gazan rocket attacks), the wounding of 14 civilians from an Israeli attack, and the ongoing bombings are proof that Israel is continuing the war crimes, deliberately and cold bloodedly killing our children, and continuing the cruel blockade for 11 years already.
The ministry renewed its call to the international UN Security Council to provide international protection to our people in Gaza who are paying a heavy price over the fact that Israel is violating international law and over the fact that the US identifies with the occupation.
The ministry said that both the refusal of Israel and the American administration of an investigation of the Israeli crimes and Washington's withdrawal from the [UN] Human Rights Council constitute a clear message that [Israel] is continuing in its aggression, which necessitates immediate international action."
