Fatah member tell students they must continue the "resistance" [violence]
Mahmoud Al-Aloul, member of the Fatah Central Committee, speaking to students on behalf of Abbas:
“We wish you [outstanding students] success, in order that you will be prepared for the stages yet to come, and in order that you will complete your studies and join your people in addressing additional challenges in which you are required to take part. The first challenge is the continued building of the homeland, the building of society in the service of your people. Certainly, you are required to take part in further challenges, a major part of which is to stand against the occupation and its violations, the continuation of the struggle and the resistance [violence], for the realization of the hopes of this people, the realization of the hopes of the Shahids (Martyrs), and the realization of the hopes of Yasser Arafat in an appropriate manner.”
