UK MPs cite PMW's findings
on PA misuse of UK funding
during parliamentary debate on UK foreign aid

During a debate in the UK House of Commons reviewing UK international aid, that was sparked by PMW findings about PA misuse of UK aid funds (see PMW’s report The PA’s Billion Dollar Fraud from April 27, 2016, as well as reported in the Daily Mail on 27 March, 2016), several UK MPs cited PMW's findings:
''

Joan Ryan, Labour Party MP: “Last month, Palestinian Media Watch showed how the PA sought to deceive international donors, shutting the [PA] Ministry of Prisoners’ Affairs and claiming that the PLO would assume responsibility for those payments, but this was merely financial sleight of hand...”
Jim Shannon MP, Democratic Union Party MP: “When Minister [Swayne] stands up to respond, I’d like him to ensure that British aid money does not support Palestinian Authority incitement to commit violence. All the Minister has to do is turn on his computer and visit www.palwatch.org and see for himself that the Palestinian Authority is misusing the funds that’s given to it by Britain.”
