Fatah officials honor murderers who killed 5

“The Prisoners’ Affairs Authority and Prisoners’ Club held a ‘Freedom and Loyalty Rally’ for veteran prisoners [and] prisoners from the fourth phase [of prisoner releases] who were never released, to mark the beginning of the 27th year in the occupation prisons of prisoners Jum’a Adam and Mahmoud Abu Kharabish from Jericho. The rally was attended by Fatah Central Committee members Mahmoud Al-Aloul and Dr. Jamal Muhaisen, District Governor of Jericho Majed Al-Fatiani, Prisoners’ Affairs Authority director Issa Karake, Chairman of the Prisoners’ Club Qadura Fares, Israeli Arab MP Muhammad Barakeh, dozens of relatives of prisoners and released prisoners, and representatives of the [PA] Security Forces in the district.
[District Governor] Al-Fatiani gave a speech in which he welcomed the guests and the prisoners’ families, and sent greetings of honor and appreciation for the sacrifice of prisoners Adam and Abu Kharabish, and to all the prisoners in the occupation prisons… At the end of the rally, the relatives of the 30 veteran prisoners and the family of the most senior female prisoner, Lina Al-Jarbouni, were honored. They received plaques of honor in recognition of their sacrifice and legendary forbearance in face of the injustice of the jailors.”

Notes: Jum’a Adam and Mahmoud Abu Kharabish received life sentences for throwing a firebomb at an Israeli passenger bus in Jericho in 1988, killing a mother, her three children, and an Israeli soldier who was attempting to rescue them.
Lina Al-Jarbouni - An Israeli Arab woman serving a sentence of 17 years, convicted March 9, 2004 of maintaining contact with and helping Islamic Jihad terrorists, of conspiring to commit terrorist attacks and of aiding an enemy during war.
