Mas’ad and Alqam were arrested by the PA and given life sentences, but were released after only a few years and managed to hide until Israeli army and intelligence forces arrested them in Ramallah in June 2006. Mas’ad and Alqam are now serving 2 life sentences plus an additional 25 years in an Israeli prison.
