Abbas condemns France terror attack, while supporting terror against Israeli targets

Palestinian PM Abbas consistently condemns terror acts abroad, while inciting, glorifying, and rewarding acts of terror against Israelis.

Headline: “He emphasized that the members of our people and its leadership stand by the side of the friend France in the struggle against terror – [PA] President Abbas expresses condolences to Hollande over the victims of the terror attack in Paris”

“[PA] President Mahmoud Abbas yesterday [April 21, 2017] sent French President Francois Hollande a telegram of condolences over the victims of the terror attack that took place two days ago at the Champs-Élysées. In the telegram that he sent to President Hollande, the president condemned this cowardly terror attack, and emphasized that our people and its leadership stand by the side of their friend the French people and its leadership in the struggle against terror.”

On April 20, 2017, 39-year-old French Muslim terrorist Karim Cheurfi shot and killed a French policeman at the Champs-Élysées in Paris before being shot and killed himself. A note praising ISIS was found by his body, and ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack.
