PA Mufti: Jews have no right to Western Wall

PA TV talk show Good Morning Jerusalem, interview with the Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestine, Muhammad Hussein:
”They [the Israelis] – in fact, I can say quite unequivocally – are forging history, forging culture, stealing that which exists and attributing it completely to themselves...
We want to say that the Al-Buraq Wall [the Western Wall] is the western wall of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and it is an integral part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, as was determined by an international committee [Shaw Report on the 1929 riots], which declared that this wall is a religious trust and an Islamic asset, and part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and did not show any right – of either the Jews or others – to this wall. Rather, it is a religious trust and an Islamic asset, part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. At the same time, they have made changes, and completely destroyed the Mughrabi Gate neighborhood [today the Western Wall Plaza]... This was meant to rid the region of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in order that afterwards it would be easier to carry out plans related to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, whether destruction of the mosque or the imposition of a new reality at the mosque, in order to build a synagogue or a temple.”
