Earlier this month, official PA TV News reported on Israel's transfer to the PA of five bodies of terrorists and their funerals. Two of the terrorists were the suicide bombers Maher Hbeishah and Imad Zubeidi who together killed 16 people and wounded more than 80.

The PA TV reporter referred to them as "stars":

PA TV reporter: "The skies of Nablus adorn themselves with the stars who loved the soil of the homeland, in which they will lie forever having returned to it as Martyrs (Shahids)." [Official PA TV, March 12, 2014]

In the report, PA TV News chose to include interviews with relatives of the suicide bombers. The brother of terrorist Imad Zubeidi who detonated a bomb at a bus stop, killing one and wounding more than 40, expressed pride in his brother and explained how the funeral of the terrorist was a moment of joy and "a wedding":

"For us, this is a wedding of Martyrdom (Shahada) - not mourning, but a wedding of Martyrdom. We are very proud that our brother gave himself for Palestine."

The Fatah movement as well, recently chose to praise yet another suicide bomber as "the heroic knight." Muhammad Omar Khalil Za'oul killed 8 and wounded dozens in what Fatah termed "a heroic operation of quality that has entered the chronicles of heroic operations":

"Today, Feb. 22, is the anniversary of the Martyrdom death of the heroic knight, Muhammad Omar Khalil Za'oul, of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades in Palestine, Fatah's military wing... who shook the foundations of the occupied city of Jerusalem with a heroic operation (i.e., terror attack) of quality that has entered the chronicles of heroic operations. It killed eight Zionists in an explosion on Egged bus line 14 near the Liberty Bell Park in occupied Jerusalem and injured 50 more. Rest in peace, hero."

PMW has documented that Fatah uses its Facebook page extensively to glorify terrorist murderers.

The following is a longer excerpt from the PA TV News report on the funeral of the suicide bombers:

Official PA TV News reported on the transfer of five terrorists' bodies from Israel to the PA and on their funerals:
Sister of suicide bomber Maher Hbeishah: "He sought it [Martyrdom (Shahada)] for a long time. He would always pray: 'Allah, make us live happily and die as Martyrs.' Praise be to Allah, he achieved it. He sought it sincerely."
Brother of suicide bomber Imad Zubeidi: "For us, this is a wedding of Martyrdom (Shahada) - not mourning, but a wedding of Martyrdom. We are very proud that our brother gave himself for Palestine."
PA TV reporter: "The skies of Nablus are adorning themselves with the stars that loved the soil of the homeland, and they will lie in it forever after having returned to it as Martyrs (Shahids)."
