PA daily: Israeli MP carried out “Talmudic” (i.e., Jewish) ceremonies at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, allegedly calls to “establish the alleged Temple on the ruins of the mosque”

“Extremist Israeli Parliament Member Yehuda Glick and several zealous extremists performed Talmudic (i.e., Jewish) ceremonies in front of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, from the direction of the Cotton Merchants’ Gate, yesterday afternoon (Wednesday) [Aug. 23, 2017]… Extremist Glick is one of the godfathers of the invasions of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and one of the most enthusiastic in calling to establish the alleged Temple on the ruins of the mosque.”
Israeli Parliament Members Yehuda Glick and Shuli Moalem-Refaeli were blocked by police from entering the Temple Mount on Aug. 23, 2017. Their visit was a protest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s orders barring parliament members from the site over alleged security concerns. In response to the protest, Netanyahu agreed to allow parliament members into the site for a day as a “trial.” Glick has petitioned the Israeli High Court against the ban.
MP Glick is also the Chairman of the Temple Mount Heritage Foundation that works to increase awareness of the central place the Temple Mount and the Temple hold in Jewish heritage through educational activities and by encouraging people to visit the Temple Mount. In addition, he is the coordinator of the LIBA initiative - The Jewish Freedom on the Temple Mount initiative whose goal is to obtain freedom and civil rights for Jews on the Temple Mount. On Oct. 29, 2014, Mutaz Hijazi, an Islamic Jihad member and released prisoner, attempted to assassinate Glick, who was seriously wounded in the attack.
The PA and its leaders consider all of the Temple Mount an integral part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Therefore they view any presence of Jews on the mount as an “invasion.” It should be noted that Jews who visit the Temple Mount only enter some sections of the open areas, and do not enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque or the Dome of the Rock.
