Fatah spokesperson quotes planner of Munich Massacre in defense of Abbas: Palestinians can “manipulate”
Headline: "Fatah: One cannot cast doubt on the president’s firm and clear national standpoints "
"Fatah Spokesperson Osama Al-Qawasmi stated: ‘Some of the discordant voices are consolidating their positions without any national awareness, without a deep understanding of the extent of the challenges facing our people and its cause in light of the major events taking place in the Arab region and the world, and without an understanding of some of the political maneuvers carried out by President Mahmoud Abbas.
Al-Qawasmi responded yesterday [April 5, 2016] to these discordant voices expressing repulsive party standpoints, or arising out of a desire for media exposure, or as a result of
fixed standpoints that refuse everything, with the well-known statement by leader Martyr Salah Khalaf 'Abu Iyad' in the Palestinian National Council when some criticized a number of Martyr Yasser Arafat's statements that were directed to the international community and Israeli society. Abu Iyad said: 'Is it permissible for the world and all world leaders to manipulate and implement tactics, but forbidden to the Palestinians?'"
Abu Iyad (Salah Khalaf) - Founder of Fatah and head of the terrorist organization Black September. Attacks he planned included the murder of 11 Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics (Sept. 5, 1972) and the murder of two American diplomats in Sudan (March 1, 1973).
