“In order to convey the voice and message of the Palestinian people and blend it with the Western peoples, the young Palestinian Nour Jamal Al-Keswani was easily able to create a Model [UN] (i.e., a simulation of the UN General Assembly, or one of its committees, teaching students about diplomacy, negotiations, and making decisions) that blends the Arab peoples and the West through the principle of mutual discussion and understanding of the other. Nour Al-Keswani, 23, is a student at Al-Quds Bard College (i.e., Al-Quds University and Bard College partnership, located on the campus of Al-Quds University in East Jerusalem ) majoring in biology/pre-med [studies].”
