PA TV News on terror attack in Tel Aviv and Israel's response

News about raids and arrests in the West Bank and the continuing blockade of Gaza

Newsreader: “Reinforced occupation army forces carried out a number of raids and arrests in different areas of the West Bank, including a raid of the homes of those who carried out the Tel Aviv operation (i.e., terror attack, 4 murdered) in Yatta, near Hebron, after surrounding it. The [army forces] arrested a number of young people, including [members of] the Martyrs' (Shahids) families. In addition, occupation forces continue to blockade the village of Yatta completely after they closed all its entrances and arrested a number of civilians. Likewise, it invaded the homes of the two who carried out the Tel Aviv operation and measured them in preparation for their demolition."

Official PA TV reporter: "More than 120,000 people were blockaded in Yatta, south of Hebron, after [report of] the news that 4 Israelis were killed and another 4 were injured by two from the village who carried out the operation… Traces of the two young people of the Makhamreh [family], cousins, disappeared yesterday afternoon [June 8, 2016]. The father of one of them asked the Palestinian Special Security Forces to look for his son and nephew, after learning through social media that one of them was injured and the other arrested and hearing about the Tel Aviv operation on the news…"

Newsreader: "Israel has frozen the [entry] permits of 83,000 citizens who were permitted entry into Jerusalem and over the Green Line for the month of Ramadan. Four Israelis were killed last night at one of the businesses in Tel Aviv in an attack carried out by two young people, [about whom] the occupation said that they are from the village of Yatta south of Hebron, and that one was critically injured and the other moderately [injured]. The Israeli Civil Administration stated that according to this procedure [of forbidding entry], the entry permits of hundreds of Gaza residents - who obtained [the permits] to visit relatives and pray in Jerusalem during the month of Ramadan – will be frozen.

Muhammad Ahmad Musa Makhamreh and Khaled Muhammad Musa Makhamreh - 21-year-old Palestinian terrorists and also cousins, who carried out a shooting attack in Tel Aviv on June 8, 2016, murdering 4 Israelis and injuring 16. The terrorists ordered dessert in the Max Brenner restaurant in the Sarona Market, before they began shooting at people. Muhammad Makhamreh and Khaled Makhamreh were both apprehended by the Israeli police, one of them shot and wounded before being caught and brought for treatment in an Israeli hospital.
