Governor of Ramallah: Israel tries to kill us with drugs and fireworks
Official PA TV program Palestine This Morning, hosting Ramallah and El-Bireh District Governor Laila Ghannam, on warning issued by the Ramallah and El-Bireh district regarding the use of fireworks in celebrations to mark the end of matriculation exams
Ramallah and El-Bireh District Governor Laila Ghannam: “There are daily summary executions and the occupation is also trying to cause our people to kill itself with its own hands, through means [of Palestinians acting] outside the national consensus, [one of] them being the fireworks that enter [the PA]. We do not have complete control over our areas that are under [our] security control. This [influx of fireworks] is done by some of the greedy merchants, and of course with the support of the occupation that tries to kill us with everything, whether with drugs, fireworks, [Palestinians acting] outside the national consensus - all of the actions and negative behavior that could lead to the collapse of this society which has suffered greatly from this occupation.”
