“[Advisor to PA Chaiman Abbas on NGOs and] Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein minimized the importance of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s message to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in which he called for peace. Abu Al-Einein stated in a press release, in response to Netanyahu’s demand that President Abbas fire him, that ‘our Palestinian people is the one being massacred daily by the Israelis at the direct order of the Israeli government without any deterrent.’ …
Abu Al-Einein emphasized that the presence of the settlers on Palestinian land is the main reason for the incitement in the Palestinian street, and added: ‘The whites in Africa did not relate to the blacks with the same racism like the settlers relate to our people, harassing it daily and stealing its land.’ He said: ‘It would be fitting if Netanyahu would stop spilling Palestinian blood and penetrating Palestinian territories, and would stop the settlement.’ Likewise, he noted that the occupation army has [made] a decision to create daily conflict with the Palestinians, and wondered: ‘Who is responsible for this?’ Abu Al-Einein accused the occupation soldiers of the cold-blooded murder of dozens of our Palestinian people who did not carry any knife, and blamed the continuing violence on the Israeli government that continues land theft and daily harassment.”
