Jewish students visiting the Temple Mount is an “invasion,” who were told about the “legend of the alleged Temple”
Headline: “More than 80 Jewish settlers and students invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque and carried out tours of provocation”
“More than 80 Jewish settlers, including activists of the organization Students for the Temple invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque yesterday [July 21, 2016]…
A journalist from WAFA (i.e., the official PA news agency) noted that a number of Jewish rabbis accompanied the extremists in their invasion of the blessed mosque, while the group was led by a guide who told the legend of the alleged Temple [that stood] in place of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.”
Note: The PA and its leaders consider all of the Temple Mount an integral part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Therefore they view any presence of Jews on the mount as an "invasion." It should be noted that Jews who visit the Temple Mount only enter some sections of the open areas, and do not enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque or the Dome of the Rock.
Students for the Temple – possibly referring to the student organization Students for the Temple Mount that promotes awareness of and the connection of Jews to the Temple Mount. It is one of what the PA refers to as "the alleged Temple organizations.” The term refers to religious Jewish movements, including the Temple Mount Heritage Foundation, and The Jewish Freedom on the Temple Mount initiative, which spread awareness of the importance of the Temple Mount in Judaism and encourage people to visit the Temple Mount.
