“The [PLO] Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs reported that 24 of the children of the prisoners sitting in the occupation’s prisons from a variety of the homeland’s districts were hosted in leisure activities by the Network of Municipalities [for the Release of] Marwan Barghouti (i.e., terrorist who orchestrated three shooting attacks in which 5 were murdered) in France. This was under the arrangement and auspices of Palestinian Ambassador in France Salman Al-Harfi, the [PLO] Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs, the Prisoners’ Club, the Palestine National Fund, and the International Campaign for the Release of Marwan Barghouti.
The Commission reported that the children did meaningful culture activities and tours in the French cities with the participation of the municipalities of Jonville, Stains, La Courneuve, Vitry, and Allonnes, in the presence of supervisors who are Prisoners’ [Affairs] Commission and Prisoners’ Club employees, and that these activities will continue until the middle of the coming month of August.”
