Video posted on the Facebook page of Advisor to PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas on NGOs and Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein
The video shows a speech given by Al-Einein at a ceremony in Hebron awarding high school diplomas to students who completed their matriculation exams.

The extremist settlers call to kill every one of you, and say that the murder of a Palestinian has holiness like the holiness of the Sabbath (apparently a reference to the words of Safed Chief Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu in July 2016 –Ed.).”
Sultan Abu Al-Einein’s false claim that “extremist settlers” liken the murder of a Palestinian with the observance of the Sabbath appears to be loosely based on comments by Safed Chief Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, who in July 2016 spoke about taking action against terrorist murderers and said: “Revenge is a commandment of the Torah just like the commandment of the Sabbath.” He specified that by revenge he meant sanctions against them.
