PA daily refers to terrorist killer of 3 as “Martyr”
Headline: “Martyr Baha Alyan’s family rejects the occupation’s conditions for receiving the body of their son”
“Martyr (Shahid) Baha Alyan’s family refused to receive their son’s body under the conditions that were dictated by the occupation: The delivery of their Martyr son’s body in the presence of only 15 people, and his burial at [the cemetery adjacent to] the Lions’ Gate [of Jerusalem’s Old City] at midnight.
The Martyr’s father said in a press release that the family rejected the Israeli proposal due to the small number of participants [allowed] at the funeral…
It should be noted that Martyr Alyan carried out the stabbing operation on a bus on Haifa Street in Jerusalem (sic., he carried out the terror attack on Olei Hagardom Street, there is no Haifa Street in Jerusalem) last Oct. 13 [2015].”
Baha Alyan and Bilal Ghanem – 22 and 23-year-old Palestinian terrorists who on Oct. 13, 2015, boarded a bus in Jerusalem's Armon Hanatziv neighborhood with a gun and a knife and attacked passengers, killing Israelis Chaim Haviv (78) and Alon Govberg (51), and Richard Lakin (76), and wounding 3 Israelis. Alyan was shot and killed by an Israeli security guard at the scene and Ghanem, a Hamas terrorist who served time in Israeli prison in 2013-2014, was wounded. Ghanem is serving 3 life sentences and an additional 60 years for these murders.
