Abbas advisor call on Palestinians to carry out "continual Ribat" at the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron
Headline: "Al-Habbash was updated regarding the suffering of the citizens in the Old City of Hebron"
"Supreme Shari'ah Judge of Palestine and [PA] President [Mahmoud Abbas'] advisor on religious and Islamic Affairs Mahmoud Al-Habbash today, Wednesday [Aug. 10, 2016], described the steps of the Israeli occupation government in the Old City of Hebron as racist. This was said during a tour of the Old City of Hebron in order to be updated regarding the violations and inhuman acts being carried out against the residents of the area by members of the Israeli occupation army and the herds of extremist settlers… Al-Habbash encouraged the citizens to go to the Ibrahimi Mosque (i.e., Cave of the Patriarchs) and carry out continual Ribat (i.e., religious conflict/war over land claimed to be Islamic) in order to block the way to its takeover by the occupation and its settlers."
