Mother of terrorist responsible for the murder of 12: "Nobody understands the suffering we go through"
Headline: "Mother of prisoner Ahmed Barghouti: We await the day in which our heroes will be released and will overcome the chains"
"'I am ready to withstand all the suffering and difficulties, and even to die, in order to see him and to be updated about his condition, until my wish is granted and we will see him free and without handcuffs.' With these words the mother in her seventies, Um Mustafa, began her interview with Al-Quds, and thus expressed the extent to which she was affected and saddened by the Red Cross' decision to reduce the prisoner visits to once a month… She added: 'Nobody understands the suffering we go through in the journey of torture and punishment at the prison gates, except for us the families. We are the ones who feel the absence of our children, and we alone are the ones suffering from every moment that they are not with us. We hope that the moment will come that we are forever rid of the occupation, its injustice, and its control of our lives, and we wish for the freedom of our heroes, who will undoubtedly overcome the chains.'"
Ahmed Barghouti – was commander of the terrorist organization the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades (Fatah’s military wing) in the Ramallah region. He is serving 13 life sentences and another 50 years for sending terrorists to shooting attacks in which 12 people were killed. Among these attacks was the terror attack in the Seafood Market restaurant in Tel Aviv (March, 5, 2002) in which 3 people were killed.
