“Supreme Shari’ah Judge of Palestine and [PA] President [Mahmoud Abbas’] advisor on Religious and Islamic Affairs [and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Shari'ah Justice] Mahmoud Al-Habbash said that… Jerusalem is Arab Palestinian land, and only Muslims, Arabs, and Palestinians have a right to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, with all of its components and plazas that reach 148 dunams (around 36.5 acres –Ed.), and the Jews have no right to it under any circumstances.”
