Fatah: Israel won’t succeed in stopping Palestinians from “defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque and protecting it from the defilement of the extremists”
Headline: “Jerusalem’s Fatah branch: The attempts to empty the Al-Aqsa Mosque of its people will meet with failure”
“The Fatah Movement branch in Jerusalem emphasized yesterday [Sept. 7, 2016] that the occupation forces did not and will not succeed in emptying the Al-Aqsa Mosque of its people and those who are carrying out Ribat (i.e., religious conflict/war over land claimed to be Islamic) there and defending it, regardless of how much they strengthen their policy against Jerusalem residents and the Al-Aqsa Mosque guards of distancing [from the site]. Fatah Movement Secretary in Jerusalem Adnan Ghaith said that… these decisions will not prevent the Palestinians from defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque and protecting it from the defilement of the extremists.”
