Official PA TV: “Martyr Nashat Melhem… who carried out the Tel Aviv operation”

Official PA TV News, on the demonstration of Israeli activists outside the home of terrorist Nashat Melhem on Sept. 19, 2016. The activists were protected by police and had a Supreme Court ruling allowing them to demonstrate.

Official PA TV newsreader: "Hundreds of our people in the village of Ara (sic., village of Arara in Wadi Ara) in the Triangle (i.e., a concentration of Israeli-Arab towns and villages in northern Israel) stood against a group of settlers that tried to invade the village under police protection in order to demonstrate in front of the home of Martyr (Shahid) Nashat Melhem (i.e., terrorist, murdered 3)."
Official PA TV reporter:
"A provocative and barbaric style provoked the people of the Interior (i.e., Palestinian term for Israel), hundreds of whom came out to stand [against it]. The herds of settlers stormed the village of Ara in the Triangle in order to invade the home of Nashat Melhem, who carried out the Tel Aviv operation (i.e., terror attack) in November."

Nashat Melhem - 29-year-old Israeli Arab terrorist who carried out a shooting attack, killing 2 Israelis, Alon Bakal and Shimon Ruimi, and wounding 8 others, at Hasimta Bar in Tel Aviv on Jan. 1, 2016. Melhem fled the scene, and later that day killed a taxi driver, Bedouin Israeli Amin Shaaban, in another part of Tel Aviv. A week after the attacks, on Jan. 8, 2016, Israeli security forces tracked down Melhem in a building in his hometown of Arara in the north of Israel. After Melhem opened fire at them, the Israeli security forces shot and killed him.
