Fatah: ISIS is a "product of the Zionist enterprise" carrying out the will of "racist rabbis"
Headline: “The [Palestinian] National Council condemns the attack by an ISIS gang on the Martyrs’ graves in Al-Yarmouk”
“The Fatah Movement said that the destruction of the Martyrs’ (Shahids’) graves in the Al-Yarmouk refugee camp [in Syria] – and among them [the graves] of national symbols of the struggle such as leader Martyr Khalil Al-Wazir ‘Abu Jihad,’ leader Martyr Saad Sayel ‘Abu Al-Walid,’ and others who dedicated themselves, their lives, and their blood to the most noble cause (i.e., the Palestinian cause) – is a barbaric crime…
Fatah added: ‘It is already clear that IS, which caused the destruction of the Al-Yarmouk refugee camp and the uprooting of hundreds of thousands from it, is currently turning its barbarity and crimes against the Martyr leaders of the [Palestinian] National Liberation Movement (i.e., Fatah) and against its fighters. In this way it is proving that it is a partner to the absolute hostility together with the racist occupation Zionist enterprise, in order to destroy every Palestinian national remnant and to implement the plot whose goal is to cause the Palestinians to emigrate for the second and third time, far from the borders of their eternal homeland of Palestine.’
Fatah emphasized: ‘The names of the fighters – leaders and soldiers alike – will continue to serve as torches, as the criminal mentality of IS will not succeed in putting out their lights, even if their gravestones are shattered and even if their pure bones are swept away, because the history of the Palestinian national movement is too magnificent to be harmed by a criminal blood-spilling terror organization, which is in fact a product of the Zionist enterprise. [This enterprise] has denied the right of the Palestinians to live; it has persecuted them while they were alive and it is persecuting them as Martyrs through many means, prime among them IS. What [IS] is doing in the Al-Yarmouk refugee camp is exactly what is wanted by the racist rabbis, who wished for the death of all the Palestinians and labeled our people with racist expressions.’”
Abu Jihad (Khalil Al-Wazir) was a founder of Fatah and deputy to Yasser Arafat. He headed the PLO terror organization's military wing and also planned many deadly Fatah terror attacks in the 1960’s - 1980’s. These attacks, which killed a total of 125 Israelis, included the most lethal in Israeli history - the hijacking of a bus and killing of 37 civilians, 12 of them children.
Saad Sayel - Senior Fatah commander. He led the PLO forces that were based in Lebanon during the early 1980s.
