officer-turned-terrorist:
“Heroic Martyr”
Fatah vows to “remain loyal to [the] pure blood” of murderer of 2
In two posts on Facebook, Fatah specifically stressed that terrorist Turkeman was an “officer in the [PA] Palestinian police special forces”, using several hashtags to underscore this point:
“#The_Martyr_police_officer
#Palestinian_Authority_[Security_]Forces_member”
“#The_police_officer_Martyr

Fatah included photos of terrorist Turkeman in posts that praised him for carrying out the "shooting operation”. In one he poses with an assault rifle, and in another he is shown wearing his PA Police uniform with a Kalashnikov assault rifle next to him. A picture of the Al-Aqsa Mosque appeared together with photos of the terrorist in one of the posts. This connects the terrorist and his attack to the “defense and protection” of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, perpetuating the Palestinian Authority's libel that the Al-Aqsa Mosque is in danger from an Israeli attack. Palestinian Media Watch has documented that the PA and Fatah use this libel to encourage Palestinians to commit terror attacks against Israelis in order to “defend and protect” the mosque.
The same symbols were used in a cartoon on Fatah’s website that showed a hand waving a machine gun from the top of the Dome of the Rock and a pool of blood on the ground. The cartoon celebrated the shooting spree of a Palestinian terrorist who had killed 2 Israelis and injured 6 the day before. Fatah was likewise quick to honor the murderer.
Fatah continuously uses its Facebook page to honor and glorify terrorist murderers. A few days ago, Abbas’ movement vowed to “remain loyal” to “the pure blood” of terrorist Firas Al-Jaber "Abu Ghadab", who participated in the murder of 2 Israelis in 2001:
Posted text: "The anniversary of the death as a Martyr (Shahid) of Commander Firas Al-Jaber Oct. 27, 2016... Today we in Fatah, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, ... bow our heads in honor and admiration of the soul of the Martyr, the outstanding commander, Firas Al-Jaber, even as we renew the oath to his pure soul that we will remain loyal to his pure blood which watered the beloved land of Palestine, and emphasize that we will continue forward on his path of struggle until the liberation of the last bit our occupied land."
