PNN praises “heroic” 2014 synagogue massacre, reprints PFLP eulogy for terrorists: “You are the makers of glory, O ones who with their blood paved the path of victory”
Headline: “The second anniversary of the heroic Deir Yassin operation that was carried out by the friends Ghassan and Uday Abu Jamal”
“The second anniversary of the heroic Deir Yassin operation (i.e., terror attack on a synagogue in Jerusalem’s Har Nof neighborhood, 6 murdered), which was carried out by the heroic friends Ghassan and Uday Abu Jamal from the village (i.e., neighborhood) of Jabel Mukaber in Jerusalem at a Zionist Talmud institute that was established on the ruins of the village of Deir Yassin.
The operation led to the death of 6 Zionists, 3 of them with American citizenship and 1 with British citizenship. The 5th was a Zionist [Druze] police officer who died of his wounds after the operation, and before the end of last October [2015] extremist Zionist Rabbi [Haim] Yehiel Rothman [also] died of his wounds.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) took responsibility for the heroic operation, and said that while it eulogizes its resistance fighter members, it praises this operation with full honor and considers it a natural response to the crimes of the occupation, and emphasizes that the resistance continues and the Intifada is undoubtedly approaching.
It added in a eulogy statement: ‘You are the makers of glory, O ones who with their blood paved the path of victory and defeated the occupation. Through your hands and your weapon that is simple yet full of faith in the justice of the cause and our right, the plans and plots to slit the throat of our capital of Jerusalem collapsed before the strength of your courage and your heroic operation. In this way you avenged the blood of the Martyrs (Shahids) of the Deir Yassin massacre from 1948 (see note below –Ed.), and returned the village to its source, its youth, its nature, and its pure Arabness, when you breached the stronghold of Zionism and the herds of settlers, which puts out murderers…
Jerusalem, you must be proud of your sons, as they are the knights of fire and revenge.’

O masses of our heroic people in every place
In the path of freedom, the Fida’i (i.e., self-sacrificing fighter), and the oath to the blood of the Martyrs, and for Palestine, all of Palestine – from the [Mediterranean] Sea to the [Jordan] River, we eulogize before the masses of our people and our people who stand firm in Jerusalem, our eternal capital, the heroes of the blood and the brilliant victory, sons of Jerusalem, the mother of the beginnings and endings and detonator of the Intifidas, and sons of the Jabel Mukaber neighborhood, the heroic fighter friends, those who carried out the heroic Deir Yassin operation:
Martyr, heroic friend Uday Abu Jamal
Martyr, heroic friend Ghassan Abu Jamal

Jerusalem Har Nof synagogue terror attack – On Nov. 18, 2014, two Arab terrorists, Ghassan and Uday Abu Jamal from East Jerusalem, entered a synagogue in the Har Nof neighborhood of Jerusalem and attacked worshippers with guns, knives and axes, murdering 5 worshippers – one of whom died of his wounds nearly a year later - and a police officer. 7 people were injured. The terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with Israeli Security Forces who arrived on the scene.
Deir Yassin - On April 9, 1948, Jewish fighters from the Irgun and Lehi military groups, part of the forces opening the blockaded road to Jerusalem, attacked the Arab village of Deir Yassin. When the battle was over, the village had fallen and in addition to the Arab fighters killed, 107 civilians were also killed. Narratives differ as to whether the civilians were killed in the crossfires or were intentionally killed by the Irgun and Lehi fighters.
