PLO official: “We oppose terror, and support our resistance by all means… The continuation of the occupation feeds all the types of extremism and terror in the world”
Headline: "Majdalani: Our recognition of Israel will not remain a blank check forever, and there is no Palestinian state without Gaza"
"PLO Central (sic., Executive) Committee member Ahmed Majdalani said in a speech on behalf of the national action factions at the Seventh Fatah Movement Conference… that before every entry into any political process with the occupation state, there must be recognition of the State of Palestine within the borders of June 4, 1967, as our recognition of Israel will not remain a blank check forever.
He emphasized that it is necessary to stop the settlement enterprise, through which the occupation government strives to destroy the two-state solution… He continued: 'We oppose terror, and support our resistance by all means (term here refers to events that include violence against Israeli civilians such as rock-throwing, stabbings, and even shootings -Ed.). The attempts to give preference to the fight against terror [in the Arab world] at the expense of the [Palestinian] cause only serves the occupation, as the continuation of the occupation feeds all the types of extremism and terror in the world.’"
The terms "all means," "peaceful uprising,” and “popular uprising" are often used by PA leaders to refer to events that include violence and deadly terror against Israeli civilians such as rock-throwing, stabbings and even shootings. See Mahmoud Abbas' reference to murderous terror as "peaceful" during the 2015-2016 terror wave (“The Knife Intifada”), which included numerous stabbings, shootings and car ramming attacks in which 40 people were killed (36 Israelis, 1 Palestinian, 2 Americans and 1 Eritrean) and hundreds wounded: http://palwatch.org/main.aspx?fi=157&doc_id=16437
