"Martyr (Shahid) Atef Bseiso (i.e., terrorist, involved in planning of Munich Massacre, 11 murdered)
From an upper crust family in Gaza, he joined the Fatah movement at the age of 17. In 1969, [Abu Ali Iyad sent him to northern Lebanon, where he met with Sa'id Al-Saba' who recommended him as a candidate for a military course at the Al-Muntar Base near the Syrian city of Tartus. After he finished the course, he was selected to serve in the intelligence field and became a member of the Fatah Revolutionary Council, the PLO's main component, and worked alongside top security officials such as Ali Hassan Salameh (i.e., commander of operations of the Black September terror organization and one of the planners of the Munich Olympics massacre –Ed.) who died as a Martyr in 1979. He participated in the planning of the Munich operation, and together with Abu Iyad (i.e., Salah Khalaf - head of the terror organization Black September and one of the planners of the Munich Massacre –ed.) established the revolutionary surveillance organization in Beirut at the beginning of 1968. Bseiso was born in Britain on Aug. 23, 1948, and graduated from the American University in Beirut. He was assassinated at the Meridien Hotel in Paris in 1992, and the Mossad (i.e., Israeli Secret Intelligence Service) was blamed for it."
Atef Bseiso was a senior PLO official and Fatah activist who served as a member of the Fatah Revolutionary Council. Bseiso was the personal aide of Salah Khalaf "Abu Iyad" when he served as the head of the terror organization Black September, and as part of this role Bseiso was one of the planners of the 1972 Munich Massacre, in which 11 Israeli athletes were murdered. Bseiso continued as Abu Iyad's personal aide after Abu Iyad was appointed head of the PLO intelligence and security forces, following the dismantling of Black September. After Abu Iyad was assassinated in 1991, Bseiso took over as PLO security forces head, and in that role he maintained official ties with European intelligence organizations. Bseiso was assassinated in Paris in 1992; while Palestinian sources accused the Israeli Mossad of being behind the assassination, the Mossad did not take official responsibility for the incident.
The Munich Massacre - a terrorist attack perpetrated by the Palestinian terror organization Black September during the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, in which they murdered 11 members of the Israeli Olympic team.
Ali Hassan Salameh - Commander of operations of the Black September terror organization. He planned many terror attacks, including the attack on the Israeli team at the Munich Olympics in 1972, in which 11 Israeli athletes were murdered.
Abu Iyad (Salah Khalaf) - One of the founders of Fatah and head of the terror organization Black September. Attacks he planned include the murder of 11 Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics (Sept. 5, 1972) and the murder of two American diplomats in Sudan (March 1, 1973). It is commonly assumed that his assassin, a former Fatah bodyguard, was sent by the Abu Nidal Organization, a rival Palestinian faction.
