“[PA] Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah called on the international community to act quickly and seriously to defend the people of Palestine and its status, and to force Israel, the occupying authority, to stop its violations against our people, its land, and our holy sites, and to release all of the freedom prisoners.
These statements were made during a speech that he gave at a reception ceremony for the holidays that was held yesterday [Dec. 15, 2016] in Ramallah, in the presence of a number of ministers, ambassadors, consuls, state representatives, and official and respected figures.
Hamdallah said: ‘At a time when we are praying for the victims of criminal terror everywhere, we call to bring peace and justice to the whole world. The international society must act quickly and seriously to defend the people of Palestine and its status, and to force Israel to stop its violations against our people, its land, and our holy sites, and to release all of the freedom prisoners.’”
