"Secretary-General of the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front (PPSF) and member of the PLO Executive Committee Ahmed Majdalani said that the talk about transferring the American embassy to Jerusalem will make the foreign policy of the new American administration the same [as that of] the occupation government on everything related to the Palestinian cause; it will definitively revoke its role of mediator and sponsor of the peace process, will turn it into an opponent instead of an arbitrator, will lead to the loss of the hopes that remain for the two-state solution, and will destroy the chances for peace in the region.
