“[PA] President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas sent a telegram to German President Joachim Gauck and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, in which he expressed condolences over the victims of the terrorist car ramming incident that took place in a market in Berlin and claimed dozens of civilian victims and wounded (a terrorist of Tunisian origin who had pledged allegiance to ISIS ran a truck into a Christmas market in Berlin on Dec. 19, 2016, murdering 12 people and injuring 48. He was killed in a shootout with police in Italy on Dec. 23, 2016 –Ed.). The president emphasized… his condemnation of this despicable crime and his complete opposition to violence and all types of terror.
